Behold! I have drawn crap!art!

Audience: *gasps!*

For those of you who have read Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, this is the ever-snarky, vertically-challenged Anita. This is actually a detail; the whole picture was going to be of her and Jean-Claude and Richard. You know, the triumverate. But JC came out horribly and I didn't want to ruin Richard like that, so I just cut Anita out and fixed her up a bit. She's decent. Not very good, but decent.

And since my computer is being weird, I'll have to give a link instead of sticking it right in the entry:

Further adventures of Max, Noah, and Devi. Except this actually takes place in the book universe, unlike the first one which was just a random little piece to introduce them.

Random note. Not all of them will be from Noah's POV. I just like doing his because he's fun and cute and easily embarrassed and slightly sarcastic. ^^ Anywho. In this little ditty, our trio works on thinking up a name for the band that Max wants to start.

For those of you who are wondering, yes, that is actually how I came up with the band name. Except it was me, Ellen Kearney, and hamntheman sitting in history class. I think it was Ellen who thought of it first. Anyway. That's also how we came up with the name of the other band, Pillars of the Empire, which I haven't explained yet.

Anyway. Next time, on The Amazing Adventures of ~~Kavalier and Clay~~ Max, Noah, and Devi: drummer auditions and the introduction of the snarky, cutesy, oh-so-much fun Erin Reed.

I was randomly looking through old files and I found this little story that I'd started for a short story contest, but gave up on because it was too long. I think the limit for the contest was 1000 words.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the origin of Maximillian Debbs, Devinne Culbert, and Noah Cartelli.

I know that not many, if any, of you know about Max, Devi, and Noah, but they're three of the main characters in this little mini-series of books that I've been wanting to write for a while. But we'll get to R.A.W Music and some of the other characters, like Erin and Shawn and Cassidy, later.

This little thing really doesn't have a point. It was just cute and fun to write. And I have to introduce them to you guys somehow, since I've got random scenes from the books written, but really none of the important stuff. Just cute little things.

So, I present to you, "Tuesday in the Park With Misfits." Yes, a parody of "Sunday in the Park With George." Just the name. Not the story. Anyway.

By the way, if second_batgirl happens to read this, the name "Margot" was a complete coincidence. ^^

Feedback would be lovely, kids, if you've got the time. Mostly about the characters. I know it was short and you didn't really get to see a whole hell of a lot of them, but did you generally like them? Any tips on stuff I should do with them?

w00t! I got my cast for the Camp/Newsies fusion. I was planning on calling it "Dramatic Comedy," but now I don't like it so much. Maybe I'll use "A Comedy About Drama," which is the movie's tag line.

Any suggestions? 'Cause I need them like whoa.

Anywho! The cast!

There's also Blink's out-of-camp girlfriend, Julie, who shows up for about five minutes. I'll just make her up or use an NMLer or something. And the little girl who sings really well. I'll just use Alexis Bruza, because that's who I always think of her as.

Then, there's the female director, the male director, the Cuban director, and Burt Hanley. For the male and female director, I think I'll use Jorinda and John, since they remind me of them. Burt Hanley... I have no idea what I'm doing with him yet. Ah, well, he won't come in for a while anyway. The Cuban guy will stay the same because I love him. "And try not to screw up the blocking this time! Eyes, eyes, nostrils, silent scream!"

All right. I think I have a vague idea of what's going on.

And even if I don't, I don't mind. This is just fun to write. I'm not gonna be all anal about it like I am with Angelsight. *grin*

Off to study for my SAT II's tomorrow. >.O

Well, this is my first entry. Unfortunately, I have no actual work to post. I do, however, have an idea.

Newsies and Camp.

It could SO be done.

Let's see... main character-wise, we've got Vlad, Michael, Ellen, Jenna, Dee, Fritzie, and Jill. Mostly girls. Hmm. But there's also Spitzer, Shawn, and Petey. OOH. DAVID AND LES COULD BE SHAWN AND PETEY.

I'd change the ending, of course, so that Vlad ends up with Michael instead of Ellen. NO. WAIT. BETTER IDEA. *hyperventilates!* And David/Shawn would end up having a MUCH bigger part... YES. I SO HAVE THIS.

So let's check out a tentative cast...

Little Boy Who Sings and Dances Crazy-Good - Snipeshooter (this kid actually looks like a blond, spiky-haired Snipeshooter. It's weird)

I'll hold a CC for Ellen, Jenna, Dee, Jill, and Fritzie. And I think I'm gonna go to the NML for this one. I have NO idea why. Just curious to see if I actually get any good people. Eh, I'll end up rushing to the NJL board, no doubt, but call me masochistic; I wanna see what I get. XDDDD
